MINIMALIST FOOTWEAR,

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

The Ursus SLTG2 by Bearfoot is a minimalist barefoot shoe crafted for those who demand both versatility and performance. Perfect for strength training, whether it’s powerlifting, strongman, or CrossFit, it seamlessly transitions from the gym to everyday life as a comfortable, casual shoe thanks to its classic, timeless low-top look. Featuring a flexible, zero-drop sole and a wide toe box, the Ursus allows for natural foot movement, optimal toe splay, and superior ground feel, helping you build strength, stability, and balance whether you’re lifting heavy, tackling dynamic workouts, or just going about your day. Crafted from durable suede leather that molds to your foot over time, this shoe offers minimal cushioning for maximum sensory feedback and is built with an extra-wide width to accommodate all foot shapes. The Gen 2 is built with a slightly thicker, more robust outsole featuring a raised perimeter wall for enhanced durability and to help prevent slipping during dynamic movements. The Gen 2 also offers stitch-down construction, which further increases longevity compared to the cemented soles found in the Gen 1.

Peer-reviewed studies show that consistent use of minimalist footwear is associated with significant improvements in foot strength and intrinsic muscle development compared to conventional shoes.*

While the wait for the shoes to ship was very long, once arrived, the shoes were perfect and comfortable.

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Exactly as described. No more squating or leg pressing barefoot. Great product!!

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

I'm still in the process of breaking them, but, once again, Bearfoot keep making high quality products. They arrived faster than I anticipated, coming to Australia. Salute ti the whole Bwarfoot team. **DJ Khaled voice** another one.

Absolutely love my bearfoot shoes. They are super comfy and so good for smashing my workouts

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Love my Bearfoot shoes. The low tops are great for lifting as I can easily cinch em down for a nice snug fit. My toes definitely love not being squeezed into a point like a certain swoosh style out there does. Definitely feel the connection to the floor.

Originally purchased a 45 and fit too tight- Bearfoot corrected- sent prepaid label and sent off replacement pair. Build quality is great and craftsmanship shows. Will be purchasing more in the future.

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

These are great shoes! Love how wide they are to accomodate my oversized feet. Lol. Still going through the adaptation process, but its been a great experience so far!

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Absolutely amazing product! I’ve finally found a shoe wide enough for my feet that I can feel the ground in and is great for lifting. Highly reccomend!!!

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

I’ve been wearing Bearfoot shoes for several years now and have gone through a few different pairs. Out of all of them, the Ursus SLTG2 are by far my favorite. What I like most about Bearfoot’s footwear is that they actually let your feet do what they’re supposed to do — the wide toe box and flat, solid base make a big difference when you’re under the bar or just moving through the day. These hit the sweet spot for comfort, feel, and performance better than any of the other models I’ve used.

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Good stuff, really glad I found an ergonomic shoe. Looks cool too.

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Quite a step up from the first gen! I bought my first pair around 4 years ago and they were my go-to for weight training. I only switched to the new ones because I was wearing holes in the insoles. The new pair fits very comfortably and I plan to keep them around for several years to come.

Still breaking in a bit . Love the shoes 😊

Customer video review of Ursus SLTG2 / Black

These make me feel so locked in with my deadlifts and squats it’s not even funny. I’ve swapped my Romaleos out for the Gen 2s and it’s made such a huge difference with knee pain reduction, flexibility, and load support. You won’t regret buying these!

Ursus SLTG2 / Black

Simple. Well built. Quite minimalist, no cushion.

Ursus SLTG2 / Black

Really like the changes made to the gen 2. Think they should hold up great. Super comfortable.

Ursus SLTG2 / Black

Great fit, comfortable and stay on my feet while working out

Ursus SLTG2 / Black

I love these shoes! I couldn’t wait for them to come in and then they ran out and I had to wait. But, I was pleasantly surprised that the fit was much better than the last pair I purchased from Bearfoot. They feel amazing, I hardly ever take them off. The only weird thing I noticed was the smell out of the box - it smelled like shoe polish or something like that. But I haven’t noticed it since. I fully intend on running these into the ground like I did my last pair from Bearfoot.

Ursus S-LT G2 / Black

After getting the Gen 1 for the gym, I had to get the Gen 2 for everyday wear. Comfortable, spacious, and great for going out. My size fell in an odd range for this shoe (44-45), but I'm glad they hit the mark on the first try. For reference, I wear a size 44 in most brands (based on size 10 US conversion). However, for accurate sizing, measure the length of both feet (inches or cm) as this will give a more precise fit.

Customer video review of Ursus SLTG2 / Black

This shoe, what can I say about it? Perfect grip, mobility isn’t inhibited in the slightest, breathable, sturdy. The transactional strength exchange from ground to feet and legs allowed by these bad boys is insane. This shoe, the Gen2, is likely going to go down in history as one of the greatest lifting shoes of all time. Every star out of every star recommend. Grab a pair. Or 7. Or a paycheck’s worth. Your choice.

We've got the versa 1 and the boots and these were the best upgrade for clinic and the gym. We love Bearfoot! 10/10

Ursus S-LT G2 / Black

I was skeptical that I needed another pair of Bearfoot shoes but these looked even cooler than the 1st gen. So I broke down and am glad I did, these are a sturdier version but just as comfortable. Hopefully strangers keep stopping me to tell me my shoes are cool.

Ursus S-LT G2 / Black

The sizing is weird for me (US 10.5). The 44s were way too tight, and the 45s are a bit loose. Regardless, they're well built shoes with good tread and good toe room.

Ursus SLTG2 - Smoke

Great shoes. Durable and comfortable. The sole feels a little slimmer than the SLTG1, possibly due to the lip. However, the sole and lip make them much more practical when worn in wet environments which is where I intend to use them. I wear them around town, on hikes, to work, and they never disappoint. Definitely the best minimalist shoe I have worn to date.

Ursus SLTG2 - Black

Store owner replied: We truly appreciate your detailed feedback on your Ursus SLTG2. It's wonderful to hear that you find them durable, comfortable, and the best minimalist shoe you've worn to date, excelling in various environments from town to hikes and work. We've noted your observation regarding the sole feeling a little slimmer than the SLTG1, potentially due to the lip. However, we're glad this specific design element also contributes positively to their practicality for you in wet conditions, aligning with your intended use. We are always focused on creating footwear that balances comfort, durability, and practical design for diverse outdoor and everyday adventures. Thanks again for sharing your experience and we hope your Ursus continue to be a trusted companion.

The G2 version is great and I appreciate the thicker outsole. But the fit is shorter and the toe box is narrower than the earlier URSUS suede shoes I have. I hope these stretch out.

Ursus S-LT G2 / Black

Store owner replied: Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the quality and the updated outsole on the Ursus SLTG2. The G2 design features a more refined construction that can feel slightly snugger at first, especially compared to earlier suede models. The natural materials should conform more with wear, and we hope they begin to feel more comfortable as you break them in. We appreciate your continued support and insights.

I have 2 pair of gen 1 Ursus size 10 / 44 that are completely worn out, holes in the soles and the suede sides. They are absolutely the best shoe I have ever owned and am wearing a worn out pair as I write this. They fit snug but not tight on the sides of my feet. the length is about 1/2 " beyond my toes. The 2 pair of Gen 2 in size 11 / 45 based on their foot measuring guidelines are very tight around the side of my big toe "Bunion area" and the rubber soles coming up on the sides are compressing my feet in width just in front of my arch. I waited 2 months for break in to write this review. They have loosened up some in that time period. I have a callous that has developed on the bunion area of my big toe but is not painful and have removed some of it after break in. The remaining is from the sole rubbing on that area combined with the end of the lacing flap and toe box seam meeting the sole creating a small bump that is still irritating. All 4 shoes have the same bump. The length is about 3/4" to 1" longer than my foot due to the new gen being narrower and having to get a 11 instead of a 10. I don't heel strike when walking and now snag my toes in the lawn when walking due to the excessive length unless I "March". The toe box is also narrower where my toes cant "Splay" spread out to the point that wearing toe socks eliminated all available space, but do not compress my toes. I'm sure the leather will stretch but the height of the side rubber won't allow the bottom to increase in width. The rubber extending above the sole does make them more moisture tolerant, but in my opinion goes against the bare foot concept. I will continue to wear them but will not get another pair of Gen 2 Ursus if I can find something that fits me like the gen 1. I also have 2 pair of gen 1 Orso slip on's and continue to love them and hope they don't get a down grade as did the Ursus. My feet are a size 10EE by a standard shoe sizer in the mall shoe store with a very high arch. I have a review of the Gen 1 Ursus that I owned since 2020 and still wear for yard work. I really hate this as I have waited since November 2024 to get 2 new pair of replacements.

Ursus SLTG2 / Black

Store owner replied: Thank you for sharing your experience with the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ursus. The Gen 1 can be resoled, while the Gen 2 cannot. The updated sole on the Gen 2 offers improved durability. Although some users report a narrower toe box in the Gen 2, its measurements are the same as the Gen 1—the outsole lip on the Gen 2 limits material stretch, making them seem narrower and less barefoot-like. If you would like to discuss options or require assistance, please contact our support team through the Support page. We appreciate your loyalty and feedback!

These dont fit like the gen 1s they are much more narrow. I had foot surgery when I ordered them and when I was able to wear them it was to far past exchange time. I've been wearing gen 1s for years

I bought the Kodiak boots in size 11 a few years back. Those shoes were a perfect fit. I wanted to purchase another pair but they are discontinued :(. But since I had such a great product in the Kodiak boots I decided to try an available style. So the Ursus is what i went with. Well I selected a size 11 and they fit much tighter than the 11 of the boot. I initiated the return process and sent my shoes wrapped in the packaging they came in. NEVER USED because as soon as i tried them on i knew they were too tight. They reached out and asked if i wanted a different size. Which yes i did but i also wanted a different style. They never responded to that request. That was over a month ago. I have emailed customer service a few times asking about my return status. The shoes havent been logged as returned and customer service has not replied to me. So im out 100 bucks. I never leave reviews but man I really liked the Bearfoot brand and concept. I just wish i could buy the Kodiak Bruin Boot again.. shame theyre discontinued... And now not interested in upgrading to their patriot design because I have lost confidence in receiving adequate customer service.
