MINIMALIST FOOTWEAR,

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

The Ursus CLTG2 by Bearfoot is a minimalist barefoot shoe crafted for those who demand both versatility and performance. Perfect for strength training, whether it’s powerlifting, strongman, or CrossFit, it seamlessly transitions from the gym to everyday life as a comfortable, casual shoe thanks to its classic, timeless low-top look. Featuring a flexible, zero-drop sole and a wide toe box, the Ursus allows for natural foot movement, optimal toe splay, and superior ground feel, helping you build strength, stability, and balance whether you’re lifting heavy, tackling dynamic workouts, or just going about your day. Crafted from lightweight canvas that lets your feet breathe, this shoe offers minimal cushioning for maximum sensory feedback and is built with an extra-wide width to accommodate all foot shapes. The Gen 2 is built with a slightly thicker, more robust outsole featuring a raised perimeter wall for enhanced durability and to help prevent slipping during dynamic movements. The Gen 2 also offers stitch-down construction, which further increases longevity compared to the cemented soles found in the Gen 1.

Peer-reviewed studies show that consistent use of minimalist footwear is associated with significant improvements in foot strength and intrinsic muscle development compared to conventional shoes.*

Customer video review of Ursus CLTG2 - Blood Moon

Love these shoes. Great for all around training. Toes can spread out and have better footing in my squats and deadlift. Highly recommend. Ready for another pair.

Ursus CLTG2 - Blood Moon

Haven’t boight shoes from this company since 2020 - I didn’t think they could get much better, but these are even more comfy while still staying true to the wide toe box and barefoot feel. 10/10

Ursus CLTG2 - Blood Moon

It started with a pair of Bruins, now the Ursus... these shoes are built well.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

have 3 different named bearfoot shoes in past, these are far better.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

I purchased the Gen 2 Ursus after having the Gen 1 for a couple of years. I do not regret getting the Gen 2, but personally like the Gen 1 the most after trying both. The thinner sole on the Gen 1 is more like foot protection than padding, and is the closest thing I've ever experienced to a true barefoot feel. The Gen 2 sole, being thicker, feels a little more like a traditional shoe with a barefoot insole. Very comfortable and well constructed shoe and would definitely recommend! For me personally, I just now know the Gen 1 is the best feel between the two. I have greatly enjoyed both shoes and will be coming back for more.

4th pair from bearfoot. Great shoes.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Exactly what we needed for powerlifting

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

This was my first pair of barefoot shoes - I’m very impressed. I think I may grab a pair of bruins next!

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Ideal for lifting weights or everyday wear. I wear 11.5 in Adidas and 12 in Nike. Size 46 fits me perfectly. Awesome shoe!

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

These are the third pair I have ordered. I walked through the soles of the other two, looking forward to see how long the thicker outsole lasts.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

I'm glad I was finally able to get a pair my size!!

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Customer service replaced a sizing issue with a larger size- and sent prepaid label for return of original. The quality and build of the Gen 2 Ursus is awesome!

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Just got these in and wore them around all day. They do seem to run a bit small based on my normal shoe size. I usually wear a 43.5 or 44EU and initially ordered 44, which were much too small. Returned for a 45 which fit great. They se well made and the sole looks like it will hold up.

Customer photo review of Ursus CLTG2 - Arctic White

I have plantar fasciitis, these are the best shoes I have ever put on my feet, not even for just the gym! I mean everyday life! The customer service with questions, comments, and concerns.. was TOP OF THE LINE TEXT BOOK! Great shoes, great company, great people! Will have more of these to come! Thank you Bearfoot! You guys do amazing work!

Ursus CLTG2 - Arctic White

This is my second pair of the ursus and this pair confirmed to me these are the best shoes and that i want more. I powerlift, run errands and go out in these shoes. At this point i wish bearfoot would make a composit toe work boot i could wear for the other 12hrs im not in my ursus.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Been wearing minimalist shoes for years. Bearfoot are easily the most comfortable. I’ll be back for a pair to exercise in soon. Hell I’ll be back for more as long bearfoot keeps making shoes!

Ursus CLTG2 - Arctic White

I have both the original Ursus and the Oso, both in canvas. My original pair of Ursus canvas frayed pretty badly after a few month, and the Oso in canvas were a little rough around the edges, but this newer version of the Ursus is awesome. It feels more premium, the sole feels more durable, and overall it's more comfortable than the previous gen model. I will say that I do miss the ground feel afforded by the previous gen model, but having a sole that feels durable enough that it won't wear down after a few weeks is more worthwhile than the slightly better ground feel. I will say the the toe cap stitching is still in an annoying place as to having my pinky toes rubbing against it, but I'm glad I size up since it improved both the toe box width so it reduces to overall rubbing. I also think this new model has more room for higher volume feet in the forefoot, which is an amazing improvement from the previous model. I think my only complaint is really that the sole doesn't feel as wide as the gen 1 sole in the midfoot, but it doesn't really impact me in a meaningful way other than letting me know when me foot arches are caving in. I believe this is the best model released yet, and the new look makes the shoes look even classier than before so I don't look like a goof in certain events. Amazing work to the Bearfoot team and I look for more products in the future!

Customer photo review of Ursus CLTG2 - Black

I can confidently say these are the best-fitting shoes I've ever worn in my life. They are VERY wide, which is great for my feet. The shoes are sturdy, breathable, comfortable, and perfect for the gym or casual wear. The soles are slightly thicker than the usual barefoot shoe, (which I like because it feels like they'll last longer) but still thin enough to have that stable, ground feel. We'll see how they hold up over time, but I purchased the insurance just in case.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

This is my 4th pair of Bearfoots. I love them. I have the Ursus SHTG1/Black for lifting. Oso S/Black for casual. Bruin/Black Bear for casual/formal. And most recently, this Ursus CLTG2/Black. I am also interested in purchasing the following as soon as my size is in stock. 1. Ursus CLTG2/Arctic White in Men's Size 40 2. Bruin/Kodiak Brown in Men's Size 7.5 Thanks for the great products.

Customer photo review of Ursus CLTG2 - Black

Seems like they run small so get a size up but a little bit more between your feet than the first gen. Works great for work

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

These are the best shoes I’ve had by far. Customer service is excellent and helped me with everything I needed. I will be buying another pair to keep as a spare for when I walk through these ones.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

The shirt and the shoes are excellent!

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

These are great. Very rooming toe box. The new sole design should help protect against wear at the shoe/ground interface + has a more conventional shoe appearance.

Ursus CLTG2 / Arctic White

Love these shoes! I love that Bearfoot makes their shoes and boots wide so they fit my wide feet.

Ursus CLTG2 / Black

I really enjoy the shoes thus far. Only complaint is that I had to choose between a 46 and 47 eu size from size 12 and chose wrong. What I’m REALLY excited about is to see how long these last compared to the SB’s and Vans that I usually wear.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

the size is right, 43=9.5 which were the size of my 3 previous pairs. This is a very different style of shoe, I will probably use them outside for running instead of for the gym/lifting; I prefer the ground feel of the thinner soles for lifting. The new shoes have shorter laces. Can you send me some longer laces? Thank you and God’s blessings to you all Jim

Ursus CLTG2 - Terra

I really wish these had the same feel as the first generation. These feel amazing though! I’m not sure they will beat the first generation for comfort and truly feeling the ground. But these definitely seem like they’re going to last longer. I hope the first generation becomes available in my size again though. I’d love to wear the gen 2 daily and wear the gen 1 for lifting.

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

I originally bought a pair based off of my usual shoe size. Had to return it because it ran a little too small. The return process was very easy. I bought another pair a size up and I love the way the shoes feel. My only reason for the four star would be that my girlfriend hates the way that they look. I however enjoy my junior clown Shoes. will definitely buy again.

Ursus CLTG2 - Arctic White

Store owner replied: Appreciate the honest review — and glad the return process was smooth! As for the look… sounds like the shoes aren’t the problem here. Might be time to size up in the girlfriend department too 😉 (Just kidding — we appreciate all feedback, even from tough critics.)

5 stars other than I ordered them and they said low stock but turns out they were out of stock so had to wait just over a month to get them but they’re great

Ursus CLTG2 / Black

Shoes are decent. So far no issues. Trying to get information on my order was a hassle. The site listed 4 in stock when I placed my order. Apparently it was a preorder. Which isn’t a big deal. I don’t mind waiting. But trying to contact someone or log into my account took forever. I had to prove I was not a robot at least 30 times and got nowhere. The answers I finally did get from cs didn’t provide any clarity. It felt like they only responded in order to close the ticket and move on. The whole experience had me wondering if I had accidentally placed an order on a scam site posing to be Bearfoot.

Ursus C-LT G2 / Black

Store owner replied: Thank you for your honest feedback, Mike. We’re glad to hear the Ursus is fitting well and performing as expected so far. We truly regret the frustration you experienced during the ordering process and understand how confusing that must have felt. Your concerns are valid, and we’re actively working to improve both our website functionality and communication clarity to prevent experiences like this in the future. We appreciate your patience and for giving Bearfoot a chance despite the rocky start.

I had the first iteration of the bearfoots and liked how flat the sole was. This one has some rise on either side of the shoe that I don’t understand, especially if we’re supposed to be emulating “bare” footedness. I do like the ridge along the perimeter of the shoe, my first pair garnered a hole around the toe because I scuffed it up enough. And finally, I love the insert. Whatever it is (feels like leather) I feel more connected to the bottom of my shoes. Terrific job.

Ursus CLTG2 / Black

Store owner replied: Thank you, Cameron! We appreciate you coming back for the second iteration of the Ursus and sharing your experience. The slight rise along the sidewalls is part of the updated design for improved durability and structure without compromising ground feel or natural movement. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the new ridge for added protection and that the insert is enhancing your connection to the ground. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue refining our minimalist footwear.

they're a bit small on my feet (Size 16) but so were my v1s and they broke in nicely, so we'll see..

Ursus CLTG2 - Black

The shoe is well made and has a spacious toe box while still looking good. If you are coming from the gen 1 Ursus the name is misleading. The Gen 2's midsection is dramatically narrower. These fit like a regular shoe with a roomier toe box. These will be good for some people, but I am back to the gen 1's

Ursus CLTG2 - Arctic White

These are a good beginner shoe into the barefoot community. As i have been wearing barefoot shoes for a few years these are just a little too narrow in the toe box. Overall a good barefoot shoe but i wish there was just a few centimeters more right around the toes.
